Introduction to Pattern Making

This course has been designed to be flexible, offering a mixture of online and in-person teaching. With learning spread over 10 weeks, students will have 3 physical sessions at the school at the start of the course, mid-course, and end of the course. The other sessions would be through online delivery of live sessions, recorded videos and personalised support. All recorded learning materials would remain available to students for up to 12 months after the course.

This class is recommended for anyone who is interested in learning to make their own patterns, from already existing designs they love or fresh new designs they want to create. Whether you will be learning to make your own clothes or for your professional skill development, this course will teach you all the basics you need to know to start off in the amazing world of pattern making.

Never again will you be restricted to only designs you can find available commercial patterns for, or do you have to worry about spending extras on buying patterns, you will be able to make perfect paterns to fit any set of body measurements.

Patricia Bright

Patricia Bright began painting at the age of six. She attended the Johnson School of Art at the age of ten and later began studying classical art. At the age of 18 she attended the St. Markus Institute of Art on a full scholarship. After completing college, she has exhibited many of her art series all over the US and parts of Europe.
