Introduction to Professional Garment Making, Level 2
After successfully completing Level 1, you are now ready to progress into a deeper, more extensive and intensive phase of learning with Level 2 of our Professional Dressmaking pathway.
Level 2 is exclusively for students who have completed Level 1 with us. It is carefully designed to build directly on the strong foundations you have already developed, ensuring continuity, confidence, and professional growth.

By the end of Level 1, you have already achieved an incredible amount of knowledge. You have:
- Learned essential sewing techniques and professional studio practices
- Drafted and worked with basic blocks and patterns
- Created garments using custom measurements
- Developed confidence in flat drafting.
- Drafted and constructed skirts, tops, sweatshirts and trousers for any size or measurement
- Gained a very good understanding of seams, finishes, garment assembly, and fit
- Produced a range of beautifully finished garments and samples
Level 2 acknowledges and celebrates this progress and then takes you further.

In Level 2, we expand and refine your skills, moving towards more advanced garment construction and design thinking.
This level focuses on precision, creativity, and progression, helping you move from early levels to confident intermediate dressmaker.
