I recommend the Create, Care and Repair Course for first time sewers! I have learned the fundamentals of using a sewing machine, reading a pattern, preparing fabrics and I have successfully made a bag and a pair of trousers! All and more, in just six sessions! The instructors are so helpful and teach with passion. Highly recommend to all.

I have just completed a beginners summer course at Kent school of fashion and it was an absolutely brilliant experience throughout! The studio is amazing and so well equipped. The environment is so relaxed and friendly and you feel part of a great sewing family. Tutor Tolumi is exceptional as a tutor and explains things in such a clear and user friendly way. Her hands on approach demystified some things that had previously scared me from starting sewing. All the support staff are exceptional and so knowledgeable. I have in three weeks gone from barely being able to handle a sewing machine to making bags, trousers, purses and learning some vital sewing techniques to get me going on what I now hope to be a long journey with sewing❤️1
