Studio Next -
The Home Ed Sewing Group
Ages 10-16

Studio Next has been created as a fun, creative learning space for the next generation of creatives. While this club specifically focuses on Fashion and Garment Making, we believe it is a way not only to teach skills that will remain with them for life, but also to enhance their creative thinking, which they can then apply across diverse industries later in life.

Each week, young creators explore the art of sewing, garment making, and fashion design in a friendly, inclusive, hands-on studio environment. Guided by experienced tutors, students learn practical sewing skills while expressing their individuality through fabric, colour, and creative design.

The Club runs every Friday during Term time until July 2026, when we finish up the creative year with a fashion show, where the young creatives showcase an original piece they have each designed and sewn.

Our Club members will also have the opportunity to earn a nationally recognized award -Arts Award while having fun exploring their creativity.
