Summer Courses

FREE Creative Summer School (8 -16 Yr Olds)
Fashion, Photography, Arts and Crafts, Robotics and Crafting.

Our Creative Summer School, funded by BBC Children in Need, is a 4 Week programme designed for young creatives to explore the world of art, design, and innovation in a safe, welcoming, and vibrant environment.

This programme is completely free, with materials, equipment, and resources provided, helping to remove barriers to participation and ensure that every young person has access to a meaningful creative experience.

Across the 4 weeks, young people will take part in day sessions within their chosen pathway, developing real, tangible skills while enjoying their summer and building confidence, friendships, and a sense of creative identity.

All sessions are led by experienced creative professionals, giving young creatives the opportunity to learn in a supportive, informed environment.

Young creatives can choose from 4 subjects:

Fashion & Dressmaking
Design and create garments and accessories using sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques. Ideal for those interested in fashion and working with textiles.

Arts, Mixed Media & Crafts
Explore creativity through drawing, painting, collage, and hands-on making. From upcycling to 3D craft, this pathway encourages imagination and artistic expression.

Photography, Videography & Storytelling
Learn to capture and create through digital media. Explore photography, video, and storytelling techniques while developing creative confidence with visual communication.

Creative Robotics (STEAM)
Build, design, and experiment through hands-on engineering and robotics. A creative approach to STEAM learning, combining problem-solving, design, and innovation.

Our aim is simple, to give young people a summer that is not only enjoyable, but meaningful. A space where they can explore, create, and leave with skills they are proud of.

Please note: For the Fashion & Dressmaking pathway, participants will need to bring a basic personal sewing kit (including scissors, tape measure, threads, and pins). All other materials and equipment will be provided.
