Our 6-week improvers sewing course is designed to help you create your own small capsule wardrobe through a series of practical, skill-building projects.
If you have already attended our 6-Week beginners course, then this is the next step for you!
This course is ideal for those who already have basic sewing experience and are ready to develop their confidence, accuracy, and garment-making skills while creating wearable pieces.
Over the 6 weeks, you will design and make a coordinated set of garments that can be styled together, forming your own handmade capsule wardrobe.

A T-shirt, Kimono open jacket, Simple Vest, Simple dress

Trousers (Any length, Shorts, Cropped, or Long), including pockets, elastic waistband, and/or drawstring)

Is this course for me?
This course is recommended for Beginners who can already use a Sewing machine, and may have taken on a sewing project before. You should be able to use a sewing machine confidently.
If you have attended our 6 Week course for absolute beginners, this course would be perfect for you.
If you have attended our 6 Week course for absolute beginners, this course would be perfect for you.
What would be provided?
We would provide all patterns for the projects, and some of the fabric options would be available for you at the school. You are however welcome to bring your own preferred fabrics.
Do I need to bring my sewing machine?
We have sewing machines available for your use throughout your sessions. However, you are welcome to bring your own sewing machine if you prefer to work with yours.
When can I arrive for my class?
You may arrive up to 15 minutes before the class to get settled in. We appreciate you arriving on time to be able to start the session promptly.

Is there parking?
Yes! There is ample free parking available on-site. We kindly advise not to park directly outside the door; instead, feel free to use the road parking within the premises or the car park by Garrity House.
